This long thumb and its ability to easily touch the other fingers allow humans to firmly grasp and manipulate objects of many different shapes. The human hand can grip with little or much strength and with fine control, so it can shape the dough, throw a ball,\u00a0 or sign a name. It also allows humans to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bakinglab.nl\/en\/news\/roef-festival-amsterdam-2\/\">start and control a fire,<\/a> a capacity that\u00a0 changed the course of human evolution, allowing our ancestors to stay warm, cook food, ward off predators and venture into harsh climates.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Read more:<a
