What do we mean by a circular Easter bread? A typical Dutch Easter bread contains a filling called ‘spijs’, which is made from almonds and sugar. We made this spijs a bit more special by adding fruitpulp – a rest produce from making juices – sweetened with dates. This gives our spijs a unique flavour and helps us using up our rest produce.
