School: Circular Innovation Program

Read more about the training and hypothesis here

Are you a sustainability or circularity professional? Are you part of a CSR, L&D or innovation team? Are you a food professional/creative, or perhaps an educator, artist or changemaker? Do you have the desire to develop your senses into a circularity compass and to see your field from a fresh perspective? Are you human?

We would like to invite you into Baking Lab for a hands-on, experimental exploration of circularity!

Our School’s aim is to unlock the creative potential within every individual and foster a more circular mindset that restores balance with both environment and society. We explore the roots and conditions from which a circular, environmentally friendly mindset can naturally emerge.

Learn about our philosophy and reintegrate your more earthy senses – smell, touch and taste – by experimenting with circular food and transfer these universal concepts into the wider world! You will learn to navigate complexity and unlearn the “linear” habits that often block the discovery of low hanging, yet hidden opportunities.

Join our 1-day programme

Engage your senses as well as your brain during our hands-on programme where you will experiment with ways to prevent food waste and explore circular recipe design to spark fresh insights, all within a single day!

This approach reshapes how we think, act and relate to one another and provides tools for change and transformation in any context. Diverse challenges often share solutions grounded in common principles.

Let us guide you through our three challenges:

  1.       Reconnect with your senses

Start by making one of our circular food items while learning about its story and focusing on your sense of taste, smell and touch. Use food as a playful way to explore connections with your senses, your community and your environment. Get to know our method, philosophy and each other.

  1.       Connect the hidden dots

Now (co-)design your own circular recipe through experimentation. Learn to prevent (food) waste by uncovering hidden relationships and by linking unexpected elements together. Engage, connect, care and experience how small actions can lead to meaningful change.

  1.       Bridge the gap

Explore other domains (as well as your own) by converting what you have learnt into universal ideas. Use analogies to uncover shared patterns and transfer potential beyond food. Find clarity and build confidence to navigate less predictable conditions.
